About Me
Who are you?
I’m Lou. I work at Splunk as a Senior Threat Researcher. My team brings the Splunk community things like:
- the Enterprise Security Content Update app
- Attack Range for simulating attacks, capturing the logs, and writing detections for those attacks
- Attack Data for cataloging and storing datasets of attacks captured in Attack Range
- And much more!
Okay, but you aren’t your work.
Ugh. True. Over the last 5 or 6 years, I’ve probably thrown myself into work in order to avoid other things in life and have overly associated the things I do for work with my own sense of self. That’s part of why I’m writing on this site, to work on a project that has nothing to do with my day job.
What are some things you enjoy that have nothing to do with work?
I love Star Trek, watching baseball, seeing live music, and long walks on the beach.
